harmLESS - TIC+ Counselling Support Plan
It seems as if this young person has harmed themselves but is not actively planning to end their life.
Acts of self-harm without suicidal thoughts are common and fortunately most do not go on to develop serious suicidal plans.
Let their parent/carer know how they are feeling. This young person may benefit from counselling. You could also encourage the young person or their parent/carer to make a self-referral to TIC+ for counselling.
Provide a copy of the TIC+ Counselling Support Plan & Information sheet (below).
